Ingredients of Chilman Biryani
- Prepare 2 1/2 cup of rice.
- Prepare 1 of chicken.
- You need 5-6 of onion.
- You need 7 of tomatoes.
- Prepare 1 cup of Yogurt.
- You need of Shan biryani masala 3 to 4 tsp if available.
- You need 3-4 of cloves.
- Prepare 2 of black cardamom.
- Prepare 1 of cinnamon stick.
- It's 5 of Green chillies.
- It's of Salt as required.
- It's 6 tsp of Vinegar.
- You need 1 tsp of Corriander seeds.

Chilman Biryani step by step
- Soak rice in water for half an hour.
- Get your ingredients ready for chicken curry.
- Add onions,tomatoes and garlic in pressure cooker with 1 glass of water.Cook in pressure cooker for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes onion and garlic are render.
- Add oil,ginger, green chilli,salt and corriander seeds,cinnamon stick,cardamom and cloves,vinegar.
- Cook until oil separates from curry,it takes 25 to 30 minutes.
- Now add yogurt and cook further 20 minutes, curry should be thick.
- Boil rice in water with salt and aniseed, Rice should be cooked but not too soft.
- Add 1 tsp of food colour mixed in 3 tsp of water.
- Layer rice,chicken curry and also fresh corriander,fried onion and lemon.
- After 3 equal layers,cover the top with puff pastry and brush egg and milk mixture.(1 egg and 2 tsp milk).
- Bake in oven for 20 min at 150 degrees or till puff pastry is brown..
Add in sufficient water and knead to a smooth soft dough. When biryani is done, put some in oven dish and cover with puff pastry crust, apply beaten egg with brush and bake in.
