- You need 12 of Jackfruit Seed.
- It's 1 tsp of Cumin seed.
- It's 1 of Curry leaf string.
- Prepare 1 of onion Small.
- Prepare 1 tsp of Turmeric powder.
- You need 1 tbsp of Chilli powder.
- You need 1 tbsp of Coriander powder.
- It's 3 of Garlic flakes.
- It's 1 tsp of Salt depends or more.
- Prepare 1 small bunch of Coriander leaves for garnish.
Bikna Masala (Jackfruit seeds) step by step
- In a pressure cooker add some water and the jackfruit seeds with a pinch of salt. Wait for 1 whistle and switch off the gas. Unskin the jackfruit seed, chop it fine and keep it aside..
- In a kadai pour some oil and wait for it to heat up..
- Add Cumin seeds and curry leaves and wait once its starts to splutter..
- Add Onion and garlic finely chopped and saute till light brown..
- Now add the turmeric powder, Chilli powder, Coriander power and salt. Mix well..
- Last add the jackfruit seeds that was finely chopped and mix till the masala is coated. In a slow flame cook the dish for another 10 mins. Add 1/2 cup water as you wish..
- Once the seed is well cooked switch off the flame and garnish it with Coriander leaves..
